  Ahi no mas la experiencia con esta renta de autos....antes habia arrendado en el norte sin problemas. En Punta Arenas no fue lo esperado

  I booked through a booking agency. When the man asked me if I needed a border crossing permit, he told me I never sent the information. When I showed him the email that I sent (with all the information), he never apologized or took responsibility. The booking agency sent me the screenshot of the email passing on my info, so it was definitely Europcar’s fault. When they asked for a credit card, I asked if he could swipe my debit as credit and he said “no” and that I needed to call my bank first. When I called my bank they said I did not need to call them, that he could have swiped it as credit. My car was not ready after all that fiasco, I had to wait an extra 45 minutes. The bluetooth and navigation (things I paid for) did not work at first, and the man told me to “look in the manual”. It took me an hour to troubleshoot but I finally figured out how to completely reset it and it worked. Old cigarettes still in the car from the previous renter. I had a blast on my Patagonia trip (after dealing with this) and will definitely come back. I will also definitely avoid this poor excuse for a car rental agency. 🙄
