  We went to Chile at the end of April 2018 and rented from LYS. Andres Gabor set us up with a nice 4x for two. The car was clean, tires great and full of gas so off we went. In the south it's better not to have a sedan. The prices were good and the company is very accommodating and punctual. If you are in Chile rent from these guys.

Andre was quick to respond to all of our questions, he provided us with clear and concise instructions and went above and beyond when we needed him on the road.   We received excellent service. The vehicle was delivered to us right as we got off our cruise ship ready to go with all the paperwork we needed to go from Santiago over the Agua Negra pass to Mendoza and back to Santiago. The car was in great shape and the staff was very helpful. Andres was quick to respond to our questions before, during, and after the trip. I would strongly recommend for anyone touring the area.

  My family and I took a trip to Chile last month and rented a car from LYS Rent a Car. Andres Gabor (manager) helped us select an ideal vehicle to comfortably accommodate a family of 6 and hundreds of miles over one week. We were very pleased with the rental process, the timely and personalized communication, and the quality of car rented. Andres arranged for us to pick-up and drop-off the car at Santiago airport at midnight. Out visit in Chile was so much better with a reliable car and knowing that Andres was just a phone call away. I highly recommend LYS Rent a Car.

  We really enjoyed working with the Lys Rent a Car agency. The owner, Andres, became our good friend! We rented from his agency 3 times while in Santiago, and each time they did a great job. The car was delivered on time to the site we requested, and picked up on time as well. The cars worked well, and although not new, the ride was good. We crossed the border into Argentina and back from Chile, and Andres had prepared the paperwork for the crossing. Had this not been done, it would have been a nightmare for us! (The photo is our white car waiting to enter Argentina) But with his expertise it was a good experience. I would have no hesitation to use him again. His prices may seem higher than others, but you get everything included, great service, and peace of mind. Traveling in Chile is not necessarily dangerous, but having the knowledge that if anything had gone wrong he would help us out was comforting. Thanks Andres!
